For current Heights Academy Lions and those joining us just for the summer, our program combines faith-filled fun with hands-on adventures. Rooted in Christian values, we create a nurturing place where kids can grow in body, mind, and spirit.
Where Vacation Bible School Meets Summer Camp
Each day is packed with engaging Bible lessons, worship, and prayer, alongside outdoor adventures, creative arts, and exciting team-building challenges. Our Lions will deepen their faith, form meaningful friendships, and develop socially, emotionally, academically, and spiritually.
Choose the perfect camp experience for you child based on their age
Ages 2–5
A nurturing, faith-filled camp for children who have turned 2 by January 1st through age 5 or have not yet started kindergarten. Little Cubs enjoy loving care, Bible stories, music, play, and hands-on activities designed to support early learning and social growth.
Ages 6–9
An energetic, faith-centered camp for children ages 6–9 who have completed kindergarten through 2nd grade. Mighty Lions stay engaged all summer with Bible lessons, creative arts, STEAM, sports, and leadership opportunities that build confidence and friendships.
Two 4-week sessions packed with faith, fun, and discovery
Wave 1
We kick off summer with four powerful weeks focused on Illumination, shining a bright light on who Jesus is and why He changes everything. Our Lions will learn that Jesus is the Light who guides us, gives us hope, and shows us how to live with love and courage each day.

Wave 2
During our Wonder weeks, Lions spark curiosity and joy as they explore God’s amazing world through hands-on discovery, creativity, and learning. As they dive into science, building, and problem-solving, they’ll grow in awe of the God who designed it all and be encouraged by the faith of leaders like Paul, Peter, John, and Timothy.

Heights Academy operates under religious exemption; adhering to all guidelines and regulations set forth by Virginia Department of Social Services and – Section 22.1-289.031of Code of Virginia for Day Care Centers. All state health and safety guidelines are met for the facility along with student ratios.
